It is not my style but you must not remember the wing on the origional M3. It was not that much different.

 

while it wasnt subtle either, the OE E30 wing was much more in keeping with the rest of the car IMHO. Ive always like the bulging fenders on this car.

I agree with the above statements. This wing is really not that outrageous. Come to Los Angeles or Oakland IMPALASS, and I will show you some horrendous stuff people do to their BMW's and other cars

 

This wing is certainly no double or triple decker that I hate so much I just thought it was funny how it was labeled "F40 wing"
