At least the shooter was a cop. You know, the only people who should be allowed to have guns.

 

Anti gun people are the ones that leverage childrens deaths. Literally saying “you’re a child killer if you support guns.” Moretti even said that in this thread.

Pro gun people may point out that mass shootings happen in other countries at higher rates than the USA as a valid statistical point and not as a way to justify their opinions leveraging the death of a child. Totally different thought process…

Anti gun people are often emotionally based and they’re the ones that inaccurately correlate a shooting to gun laws and scream about victims deaths as a way to push their agenda, while ignoring the statistics.

That was quite a good article that you linked. But I'm wondering if you stopped reading after you got to the first list. There rest of the article (from a quick skim reading, at least) doesn't seem to support your post.

How so? Read my past posts. I more than discuss gun deaths in general and how it compares to other countries and why the USA is high. This thread is specifically about mass shootings and the US isn’t the highest on mass shootings per capita.

In a discussion, it’s good to address specific points. So instead of just saying, “doesn’t support your post” explain why.

Regarding moretti, the guy is just spewing insults with zero logic, reasoning, discussion, etc. Don’t go down that path as it’s delegitimizing to any opinion you may have.

Have you said anything productive other than personal insults? How do we have “that problem” compared to your ad hominem. The pro-gun people on here tend to be respectful and discuss facts and use reasoning and logic. The anti-gun people on here are just spewing insults and not making any legitimate points or productive comments.

If your opinions are based in logic, reasoning, fact, etc then contribute in a productive conversation. Clearly I’m willing to have a productive conversation and be receptive to your opinion, but if you spew insults it implies the other about you.
