    My multimedia head unit is dead, i have heard of shops that can repair them ? anyone has a contact in Europe ? or any ideas where i can source a used one at a normal price ? thx

    Someone can deff repair them. Mines not 100% and Ferrari UK said it can be repaired I'm sure.

    you need to call them and set up an appt in order to send them the head unit
    There is a fee for the eval
    And estimate as I recall

    that's what I did and yes they fixed it

    Where are you located? In Europe?
    You might send them an email for advice. They may know a service center in your country.
    But it's not a big deal to ship the head unit to them.

    my head unit went dead about 2 years ago. The audio guy I was referred to just wanted to sell me a new system and mount all of these aftermarket stuff under the dash.

    I decided to search around and spent a few weeks of looking before I found this authorized serviced center.
    I sent my head u it to them and they fixed it. Glad I made the right decision!!!!

    Unfortunately for the 458, Ferrari USA is not I nterested in the audio service or repairs .

    I am based in Israel but fly all over so location not really an issue , you mean you found an authroized ferrari serviced center or a becker(head unit) one ?

    My head unit was successfully repaired by the place I recommended to you.

    I've provided you the link so you may contact them.

    What is your plan? Buy a working used unit? Or install aftermarket ? If aftermarket, how would you interface the aftermarket with the 458 display and steering wheel buttons ?

    i have sent mail to the company you recommended , waiting for a reply , meanwhile i have found few new units at around 4.5k usd which is insane , i havent found used one yet
