Hello. I hope this year is filled with enjoyable drives as well friendly gatherings for you all.

I am in the process of researching my car’s history and hopefully you can help me find a reliable source.

I own a US spec Canna di Fucile ‘95 berlinetta manual (thought about not needing to state the obvious but then you never know) with tan interior. It is a very early production car (July 1994). Regardless of being a car destined for the US, given its built date, I am surprised it came with both airbags. I have seen European spec ‘95 cars with much later built dates with no airbags. Furthermore, it is my understanding that it wasn’t very common for early production cars to be any color other than red, yellow or black. Given these two conditions, I am very interested to know to whom this car was originally delivered to, where it was delivered and when.

As a side note, I purchased this car in 2018 and did a full restoration project with the nice folks at Ferrari of Atlanta. I then got the car classiche certified and have since been enjoying the hell out of it.

I’ve attached a few pics for your reference.

    Stay healthy!

My understanding is that all US cars came with airbags, regardless of how early they were built.

Beautiful car. CdF is one of my favorite Ferrari colors, and it is amazing on the 355. A friend of mine has a Euro CdF 355B and it's stunning.

As for researching the history of your car: do a search of the VIN using Google and other search engines. Post the VIN here and see if anyone has any additional history. Ask Ferrari Market Letter. Unlike the older cars, though, there are no Massini reports with full history.

I have the earliest U.S-delivered street 355, which is also a July 1994 build. Has airbags. That’s most likely a U.S regulation thing more than anything.

Man I actually started to drool. What a beautiful '95. Wow!
You could ask the dealer to run MODIS on the car. That should at least tell you the original selling dealer. But don't expect much else- the information contained within is pretty sparse compared to modern Ferraris.

    Dude. I am 00453!
I can't tell if the OP is 00156 or 00456. 456 wouldn't make sense, but this is Ferrari.

Thanks! I wasn’t familiar with FML. I will reach out to them.

The first picture I posted contains the VIN number, however, here it is in written form: ZFFPR41A4S0100156

I would very much appreciate anyone’s input regarding the VIN.

That is one stunner. I would love to see more pictures, inside and out if you have any. That one in the sun is particularly beautiful.

... so you have the other one!

For researching the history on mine, my local Ferrari dealer was able to pull some history for the selling dealership and the first buyer. Mine interestingly being Ferrari N.A. and it was a press car.

Your wish is my command! Don’t have any interior pictures here with me but will post them later on. I’ve got the European non airbag steering wheel fitted. It’s a night and day difference vs the airbag wheel.

It's a rare black on black combo. I purchased from WI. If I recall correctly, it was most likely delivered there, but I would have to check my Carfax. I have all the records somewhere, but misplaced them.

Lovely, just lovely. I hope you get the information that you need. I have been able to speak with all my previous owners except the first one. The car was delivered through MAG in Ohio. They don't care to help me and I can see why they don't have the best reputation...

Hey that is Ted's old car! What an amazing car! If you ever decide to part with it I would love to be on the list of phone calls you make. I almost purchased that car from him as he is one of my best friends but at the time I just wasn't ready to own one. Looking back I of course kick myself big time.

Hope you get the info you are looking for! Gorgeous car.
