Any Leeds on Who is selling Tubi Exhaust and Headers for my 84 512 BBi? WWC Quoted me $4000.00 on muffler and $4000.00 on headers, plus labor! I should be able to do better than that? will call tubi in michigan Today. Is there a better set up for sound and power than Tubi? In Concours judgeing, how does an alternate exhaust effect car?????? I have both on my car........83 BBi.........sounds very nice. It was installed by the PO in Michigan........don't know the cost. Tubi in michigan should be able to help you. I would be curious as to the cost.
Hey Henry, Did you install the system after experiencing the original system, was there any gains in Torq or HP or mental hype!
I bought the car, with the Tubis already on. Have no idea what it sounded like before, nor the change in power.........it is fast enough for me, as it is. I plan on keeping it like this. I don't know what happened to the original exhaust.
I also have Tubi exhaust and headers on my car which was put on by the previous owner. The price was about the same, about $7500.00 plus labor. I was at Cavallino in Palm Beach and asked the question about concours with the Tubi. I was told you would definitely lose points, about 2-3, which hurts. I have an original exhaust but do not plan on putting it back on. Dick Fritz of Amerispec had some original exhaust systems for only $950.
