    I’m surprised they say it’s technically not possible a while back I had it done on an aperta and that was done at the atelier:

    It's not a technical issue. It's a work-flow issue. And yes, they did it on the 458 SAs. But they say they won't do it today (although they sometimes do). I have begged many times.

    There is at least one 812 GTS that also has the stripe painted on the windscreen from factory, it is 100% possible. The car has been posted in this thread before as well. I will check if I can find the pic.

    Edit: Here you go. Atelier car in Verde British over Cuoio with Livery in Nero.

    Hard to believe on these essentially hand made custom cars where they can charge whatever they want for options(and we pay it) they won’t do it!

    I think it may be more that it looks odd with the roof down, they are very funny about what they think looks right or not, as per- we were not allowed to have the buttress painted a diffent colour just the roof, even in Tailor Made.

    Buttresses have been painted from factory too. I have seen several production line pics of 812 GTSs with butresses painted, and seen a spec plate with the option description.
