I've owned a few fcars with carbon seats and haven't seen the silver lever to the side before. I presume it's there to allow raising and lowering the seat, but since I barely fit in the car with these racing seats, does this change the lowest height setting of the seat? The ones I had before did not have the lever and I had to set it to the lowest height to fit. I'm about to but a 488 out of state that has the seat lever and worried it might be higher. Does anyone know by chance?

I attached images of one with and one without.

The lever is an option. It can go pretty low, but be careful to adjust it when sitting in the seat. It's a piece that cracks easily. I've had two replaced.

Hum, I've used mine on numerous occassions while firmly seated. Going forward, I'll be mindful of the potential for cracking. Thanks .....

yeah, not sure when and where it happened, but it did. Just being gentle while seated seemed to help.

I thought I was the only one that this happened too. I had to replace mine due to the same reason.
