Image Unavailable, Please Login On Friday morning our client brought over his 1-day old 296 GTB and we wasted no time trying on new springs and wheel fitments. Before the day was over, he had his car back in-hand and ready for the weekend. This quite possibly may be the world's first 296 GTB lowered and on premium aftermarket performance wheels. You might recall that we were the first to do it on the Ferrari F8 as well - https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/worlds-first-f8-tributo-on-aftermarket-wheels-by-wheels-boutique.604915/ This 296 is now on ANRKY AN17 lightweight monoblock wheels in 21"//22" sizing + Novitec sport springs. We are taking orders on wheels and springs as we speak. The Novitec 296 catalogue hasn't been announced yet?? Do we know if the OEM springs are the same as F8 or something?
look like the std non forged wheels painted in black.. don't think i'd want to track it that low - but it'll look cool driving around the posh side of town and pulling up to the valet.
Honestly...this car benefits so much from being lower just slightly and better offset and style of wheels. The GT3 race car version is the same way, better height and better looking wheels. The car stock lacks aggression, muscle, it looks less exotic, somewhat feminine as my wife says...yep! I might not go as low as Wheel Boutique did...about 1/2" (10-13mm) higher like I did on my 488 with Novitec Springs...but a better looking wheel is definitely needed. Even stock 20" sized HRE's/Ankry's or 20/21 combo is what's needed. I prefer a little more "meat/muscle" on my rear tire so 22's don't work for me. I say excellent job on this 296 David @Wheelb I bet your customer is ecstatic !!!!
So the DMC 296 21'/22' Wheels. carbon bits and engine upgrades. thats been around for many months is not real.
+1 LOL, the most significant mod is the change of wheels but being black, they could be steelies and no one would know the difference.
The 296 came back to the shop last week to order Novitec's newly released performance exhaust system. We will be doing a full video for our YouTube channel on this car once that system arrives from Germany. Subscribe to our channel if you'd like to see that video once it drops.
