    Hey there to any techs that have had experience accessing the torque tube bearings in a 456M GTA, looking for any tips from the experienced on best ways to remove the torque tube. Obvious options are moving (removing) the engine or the transmission, but wondering if anyone has best practices they can share on ways to remove the torque tube for inspection of the bearings. If the answer is full removal of engine or trans that's fine, but if there's an easier way that's even better!

    Remove the gearbox so much easier than pulling the engine.

    Agree, Just pull the trans axle back. If I recall correctly, it doesn't have to come out, just back far enough to get the shaft to slide off the splines.
    I am interested in knowing why or what symptoms lead you to the torque tube bearing?
