Mine won’t go into production until 3rd or 4th quarter. Hope it’s the last off the line!

My car is going to be one of the last off the production line which may push into next year.

Sounds like they will be building these right into 2024.

End of last year when I was finalizing my Tailor Made spec for the GTS was under pressure from Ferrari regional sales manager to lock in my spec as he said they were finishing Tailor Made cars in the first 2 quarters this year and would produce standard spec GTS until the end of the year (23). That’s where my take on production comes from - will it stretch into 24 - no idea!

Thanks to all for this great insight into production. And the earlier cut-off regarding tailor-made vs standard spec makes perfect sense given that tailor -made may take longer .

New EU rules come into force for all production starting July 7 2024, so, for EU, 812GTS production has a hard stop since Ferrari will not be able to incorporate all those rules since some require body modification such as new type of safety glass, for USA it could continue further...

Hi. I'm curious I got my serial number last week what should be my timeline ? I order the 812 in May of 2021 so happy about seeing the outcome soon . I drive a Portofino M for now and I really enjoy that car

If a regular order, no custom paintwork or extra involved interior work, 3-4 months the car should be ready to ship, and then, seems to be taking 3-6 months to arrive after shipping unless you already selected air shipment then a few weeks.

I’ve had my deposit in since October 2021, yet still no allocation. Any chance I don’t get the car? Salesman has been assuring me for months I’m next in line. I’ve even pre traded 2 of my vehicles to them, but at this rate looks like my tax credit will expire before delivery….

    You will get the car.

The dealer just has to get his spots freed up.

I ordered my 812 GTS and 296 GTB in March 2022 and then a Roma in April 2022. The Roma came fast, the 296 is going into production next month and the GTS is Nov 2022 production

My salesman told me the factory accepted too many orders and will probably have to cancel some orders like they did to F8s. If so, there will be some very unhappy people.

My car is said to be in quarter 2 of 2024 finish. I would assume its going to be very close to the last batch. It was a special allocation to the dealer a few months ago. I would be suprised if they canceled any orders especially since it seems the 167 is taking a bit longer then expected.

Interesting. Maybe they decided to increase the total production. I will be in the dealership on Monday picking up my 812GTS from winter storage so I will ask for an update. Your dealer called it a "special allocation"?

Yes, it was well after their allocations were done. They said Ferrari offered them an additional 2 allocations.

I also feel they have upped production numbers. I have seen quite a few roll in locally in the recent months.

What's your spec? Where are you located?
