I will bet you my 348 that everyone would take a 348 over a Camry ;)

Not my wife. When can I take delivery of your car? I’m free all weekend. ;)

Someone invariably asks they can take a picture of my 348 when I'm at the gas station, then their girlfriend stands next to the 348 for the pic...lol...it happens quite often.
Nobody takes pictures of my Toyota Blade.....

    I'll take that bet. :)

My wife has bad knees and can't drive stick at all - the clutch pedal is excruciatingly painful for her. She'd be forced to pick the Camry.

When do I pick up my 348 SS? :D

    All the best,
    Andrew.

There are 8 second Camrys......so a racer would take the Camry and leave you in the dust--with a smile on your face, but in the dust.

If I rolled my eyes any harder, Mitch, the inertia would make me fall off my chair. Lol

Those red flags in the article are so spot on …haha.
I’ve been daily driving my 348 TS since I purchased it 2 months ago.
Thanks to you I just felt relief that belt retractors are an issue. I was wondering why I’m constantly moving them from feeling choked .
Would love to know how to fix it .
Also the grinding on cold is serious . I learned to drive in heavy Dodge Dart and Impalas but I remember they were not so heavy to grind and move the wheels .
Is that the 348 handling as it seems excessive ?
    Thanks

Try SHELL SPIRAX S5 ATE gear box oil. Some others work also also but I have used some that are awful. With SPIRAX I can shift into 2nd when cold with little effort and 0 grind. YMMV.

I don’t know what the previous was using, but I switched to Redline 75-90 NS. It took a a few years and a few gear oil changed but eventually it now shifts smoothly into 2nd when cold.

I use the redline in the gearbox as well, it can shift into 2nd when cold, but you can tell the the gearbox doesn't like it, its like every other older Ferrari where you just don't use 2nd when its cold, so I miss 2nd when its cold, doesn't take long to warm up...
I don't give a hoot about the 2nd gear situation, its just one of those endearing things about classic Ferrari's....
