    Hey hey
My wipers were very loud when turned on but thought it was a 'normal' ferrari sound gor the wipers...

Well they decided to stop working, believe the 'normal' sound was the wipers motor dying on me, is it an easy fix?

Or should i leave it ti the Dealership??

    Thks!

I never used mine, until one day I was out for a drive and unable to avert the rain. One clink and clunk later, the wipers stopped in their tracks. Dealer price was $1,800.00 plus labor.

No idea of replacement cost or complexity. My wipers work very well and I have used them often since I DD my car. If they are inside the firewall, the replacement will be a PITA. If that is true, it probably requires removal of the dash but I really do not know. Can check the service manual later.

My wiper motor on my 612 was making a noise that didn't sound too good. When I had the car in at Paul Russell & Co. for other stuff, I asked them to replace it just as a preventative measure. It wasn't so easy, they had to actually move the left front fender to get at it. From George's diagram, it looks like the 599's is in the same position.

I don't know about that, but I believe it is compatible with a Mazda wiper motor. At least that was what I was told.
