Has anyone had experience fixing or replacing the black rubber seal around the headlights of a 575?

It is not very difficult. The headlight assembly must be removed for access of course. As I recall it was just aggravating having to remove other items to get at all the fasteners to remove the headlight assembly

I was told by the dealer that gaskets aren’t available which sounds ridiculous

Daniel- Affirmative, many uses for vaseline. Quite a few not obscene. Did you know if you get super glue (cyanoacrylate) on your hands, vaseline will dissolve and remove it?

I have ordered these gasket replacements twice in a year and they are horrible.
Within two weeks they start coming out and it is impossible to force them back into place.
They are a mess. I had them replaced by professionals. I didn’t do the job.
In both cases the technician said these replacements were cheaply made and he was right. He guaranteed that the adhesive would dissolve with the amount of heat from the engine. Even though they are replacements from Ferrari, they are soft, squishy and not at all like the originals that needed replacing after 23 years. I have to find an alternative and I don’t recommend these. They are a waste of money.

I am consulting the technician that replaced them the second time and he said that he was working on a solution that would be effective but it wouldn't involve trying to make the existing gasket fit correctly because of how soft and poorly made the rubber kit was. Very disappointing.
If we can figure it out I will certainly post the solution, but I was out in the garage just this evening trying to press the gaskets back into their
grooves which is something I have to constantly do. By this time, the adhesive is almost completely gone along the front of both headlights, and what is additionally disturbing is the rubber is splitting apart. I had this job done 6 weeks ago and this is happening already. Like I said this is the second set that I ordered from Ricambi ( don't blame them!)
so the quality of the rubber and adhesive is truly sub par. I am not sure whether these replacement parts have been sitting in Ferrari's inventory for 20 years
and have gone soft from the passage of time or if they are manufactured with inferior materials but the rubber that was originally replaced was of superior quality.
I got a call from the tech before he installed the gaskets the first time and he said that he wasn't sure the replacements were going to last because they were
so fiddly and soft. That's all I have at this time. Let me know if anyone has been successful with the replacement kit. I would love to hear that we did something wrong and the kit is great.

I've got the same issue. New gaskets fitted Feb-24 by a good specialist now popping out. I'm booked in for a service Feb-26 and have asked them (a different specialist) to have a go at reseating them. The quality of some OEM parts should be embarrassing to Ferrari, but apparently not.
