As predicted: McL is hideous and shout out to AM for sacrificing maybe 0.5 kg and using a glossy top coat making them (probably) the only remaining team with enough pride to want to have a decent paint job.

My first thought is that they are trying to catch up with Mercedes and the small side pod. The front wings are just insanely too large...like the Super Bowl pre-game show.

That AMR23 is vastly different from the AMR22. They've definitely copied Ferrari's sidepods from last year.

looks to be the top half of the Ferrari sidepods and the bottom of the Red Bull.

Have to say, of all cars released so far the Aston looks the most impressive (I do keep in mind we haven't actually seen the Red Bull as of yet). If it works, is a whole 'nother thing of course. We all know how fearsome the Mercedes looked last year.

The Ferrari name will be on the rear wing of the SF-23.

Then the forum can save tons of space on the ''this is our year'' post (though to be replaced by "F1 sucks, replace everyone, Ferrari should leave F1" posts)

Apparently Ferrari will also have less paint of the car and more bare carbon...

    Joy!

Fred talking now, crediting everyone with the work done so far as he of course arrived too late to make a valuable contribution.

I find it quite interesting if not surprising that everyone that copied Ferrari's ''eau rouge'' side pod dip went more extreme (deeper) but Ferrari went the opposite way and actually has gone shallower compared to last year....
