Following the news of Raquel Welch passing I remember seeing a 275 GTS at Villa D’Este in 2010. Welch’s former car is now on Belgian plates and this one was (moreover the car arrived with the Touring Superleggera Bentley and Maserati, and Welch’s car has been on Touring stand at different events recently). Can anyone confirm that the car was 07359? I don’t have a picture with the number plate Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
07359 was a VISITOR at Villa d'Este on Friday 23 April 2010, not a Concours participant. Here it is in front of the gift shop at VDE. Also important is the fact that Raquel Curtis (a.k.a. Welch) and her husband Patrick Curtis were not the first/original owner of 07359. 07359 had two owners in Italy prior to Welch. When Welch's husband acquired 07359 as a used car it was already 11 months old. Photo #3 shows Welch with the 275 GTS #07359. Original color was Bleu 19391 M with Connolly leather Blu VM 3015. thank you for this confirmation! Yes the car was only a visitor, I saw it on Friday evening, as you said in front of the shop.
