    I have one of each, but if I had to sell one it wouldn’t be the top off car. Texas is a good place to have a weekend convertible, even in the miserable Summer, one can get nice weather at 7:00 PM.

    I've often wondered why Ferrari even built GT cars. If you have limited capacity, build nothing but sports cars.

    +1 for Las Vegas, once it hits dusk then a convertible is so much fun. When I had my 355 I daily drove it always top down, like a barchetta, even in the heat of the summer.

    Do you feel like the 550 lacked the emotion the V8, mid-engined cars have?

    As I get older and I drive more of them I feel like I'd be happiest living with a GT Ferrari.

    me too. I keep a 550 for my future track car when it is time to stop racing. By then I’ll have too much trouble getting in and out of v8 Ferraris and the 550 will be perfect.

    I would never trade my 550 for a mid-engine V8 car. Not my style. If I buy another F-car, it will be something from the 60s...330 preferred...

    I loved my 550. I loved my GTC. I also loved my Stradale. My point is when I think of Ferrari, I think of sports cars. I currently have a Porsche Cayenne Diesel. It is the best GT I've ever owned. I'm positive I could hang with a 550 in the Cayenne.

    Edit: I have hung with newer Ferraris in the Cayenne on FCA club drives.

    I don't doubt that at all. I rode passenger around a track with a pro driver in a Macan S and could not believe how good that car handled at such high speeds.

    Porsche SUV's drive like 911's and that's partly why they sell so many of them, I'm convinced. Not to mention they are beautiful machines.

    I gravitate towards midengined cars but my 575m is my favorite by far. There is nothing I can think of that can replace it: gated shifter, v12 smoothness and torque, refined sound.

    I love my f430, but I can envision replacing it with a manual gt4 and still be pretty happy

    I know the 308 GTBs bring more value than a GTS, but I just love cruising with the top off. My thinning hair blowing in the breeze gives me happiness.

    Sure. I’m not looking to make money, just have some fun with my exit price being near the entry price.

    Frankly, I’m not buying a Ferrari. I always compare to alternative toys. I can buy a cool sailboat with two state rooms for $90,000. The weather today in the Key West area is a high of 82 and a low of 65. Nice breeze, no bugs, and all the lobster you can eat. Get Musk’s uplink and I can work a few hours a day. Can’t do that in a Ferrari.
