This is not what it should look like. Just make an account and then your email address will work.

 

I already have a dropbox account using my email address. I have just created new file called Ferrari workshop manual which I hope you can use.
If not can you give me instruction on how we can make this work please.

Nope, it's not taking it. Just set up a dropbox account, it's free.

 

OK, I have opened a new dropbox account using another email address, I have created a document that is shared to anyone with a link. I have copied the link and pasted below. Sadly it looks very similar to the one I sent you a few days ago.
If this doesn't work I'm not sure what I can do?
Sorry, but I hate computers, they are nothing but a painful necessity! Probably because I'm crap at operating them!

I'm sorry Andrew you're doing something way wrong. The link should not be this long. It won't send. You have figure out how to send and receive documents.

I have now tried a different tack. I am sending a share file request. The link is shorter, whether its short enough I don't know. I have spnt some time googling dropboxes methods for sharing files. I hope this works.
I am a little baffled though as my accountant and I share files all the time and have never had this run round. But thinking about it I know his email address and I use that to link him to a file so he can share it.

I'm at a loss, I have just asked some one here at work and I have sent them the link and hey sent me a file and it worked fine. I have also sent it to myself and uploaded a large file and it came across no problem. I wonder if there are issues because we are on different continents?
My colleague here has suggested using WeTransfer, perhaps we could try that?
