    Honestly I think it was the best car I've ever owned, and I've owned MANY cars. It just did everything perfectly. I regret not being able to find the garage space to keep it. I dug up that photo to send to a friend who I'm suggesting look at getting a Mondial 3.2. He's looking at significantly more expensive vintage cars, but I can't help but feel the Mondial is the best match for his needs (roomy enough to be driven regularly, modern enough to be comfortable, yet vintage enough to be raw and visceral). The Mondial remains the "sleeper" gem in the Ferrari line in my opinion.

    I totally agree, I always say I never knew I wanted a Mondial until I drove one. I miss it too but consider myself lucky to have owned and enjoyed it.

    They are a bit stiff to maneuver at very slow speeds, but pretty light over the front wheels. When I want a real workout I drive my '71 Mach 1 429 big block with manual steering. That's around 700 lbs. in between the front wheels. :eek:

    I was the only Mondial at Ferrari Challenge at Road Atlanta. The only thing close to as old was a ‘88 Testarossa. A couple 550s and 355s then 100 brand new cars. A little surprising but when you see 12 Romas and no Mondials, it felt a little rare. Haha! :cool:
