Well quite obviously (edit) I think you two John's are wrong....particularly ATM when very bad decisions have been made in India.

 

Was just wondering why you didn't want to "go there" again ............ some people here have a strange sense of right and wrong

 

They're playing on doctored wickets, the only bad decision they made was continuing to let India get away with it, they should have come home

 

I played grade in Sydney at the end of the amateur era with and against some current and former Shield and Test players. This sort of behaviour would never have crossed their minds - it was still a gentlemen's game. I raised this at the time and a number pointed to p@ssweak penalties handed out on the sub continent for similar. As I said, it goes to the character of the person. Is this someone you want your kids looking up to?

 

So India should be banned from international cricket....great idea.

 

Forgiveness is stronger than any arguement you have to keep them banned.

 

I agree. It's not as if they chose their own punishment. They copped it and time to move on. We're not all perfect and brain explosions happen to the best of us

Here we had the Aussie cricket captain, held in higher esteem than the PM, and he deems to cheat, plain and simple, he cheated.

Here's what happened when two guys cheated on the engineering exams we did in RAAFSTT, they were thrown out of the air force

So we have higher standards of morality in Australia's defense forces than we do for a stupid cricket match ?

Says a lot about Australia's love of sport, I love cricket but if I thought we were cheating I'd stop supporting them and stop watching ...... it'd be like watching Mercedes

If you cheat and get caught you should be gone.

 

Since when has this world ever been fair ..... I've got enough money to see my life out but there are plenty of people in the world who have worked far harder than mewho don't have that luxury
