no such thing as 2010-2011 problems that are different than 2012-2015 that’s a MYTH that some ignorant parrots repeated over and over on the forums until it got popular. The DCT trans issue effects the entire MY range - plenty of 2012-2015 w failed DCT sensors ..

I have a 2012 now, my last one was a 2010 and when searching again for a 458 I really wanted a 10-11 because they sound better that’s about the only difference than 2012-2015 there is.

I love my 2011 (although thinking of selling for lack of garage space) and how it sounds. the pops and gurgles are the best!

The sort of people who are looking to sell a Ferrari 458 are the sort of people who tend to value their time. Going through an auction site or selling on consignment is a good way to save time by not having to deal with tire kickers.

If possible try to buy from a Ferrari dealer. If you can't do that find a reputable supercar dealer.
