Took the tour at Exclusive Motorcars of Arizona this past week. The owner, Steve, was kind enough to give a me a good look at the cars and projects currently underway in the shop. Very impressive array of vintage and modern Ferrari, Lamborghini, Alfa marques plus a few vintage american classics. I believe owners in the Phoenix area would benefit from seeing this facility if they are considering anything from a major service to a major rebuild. i will take my 360 there in the fall for a fluid change and a few small items.

I suggest Darren at DeYoung Motors.

By the way I’m in Prescott if you’d ever like to get coffee and chat F cars.

I ended up using Alex Traverso, who did a great and timely job, even did a couple of things he noticed at no charge. Great guy, and he knows these cars like the proverbial "back of his hand." I'm up in Chino Valley and flag me down if you see a Giallo "BELLA6" when I'm in Prescott. Forget the coffee - a Mojito would be better :)

I took an F430 to them for alignment and inspection. They told me that the headers were cracked and wanted $15k or some crazy amount for stock replacement... I ended up getting it done at an independent shop with Fabspeed Aftermarket Headers. Also, I smoke tested the originals and they were fine. Not sure if they heard something or not...

As for the alignment... they did a very bad job and the car was not in safe driving condition after they returned it to me. It felt like it was about to fly off the road at any moment. I had to get another shop to fix the alignment... not sure if I can trust them anymore.

I had the excellent experience of taking my 2010 California for some maintenance work to EMC this week. Steve and the other team members were very welcoming and the work on my car was what you would expect from a high end shop. While I was waiting in the trophy filled guest space, Steve had me come back to the repair area and see the work that was being done on my car and explaining the whole process. The facilities are top notch and I plan to make EMC my main shop for future work on my Ferrari.
