Hey Steve, sorry to say that my buddy Dave decided to finally retire from MSW and the Ferrari community in general about 3 years ago, so it's only me now. He's still cranky as ever, however and as far as I'm concerned, he'll always be an unofficial member of our MSW team, whether he wants to be or not!

Yes I think that was it but I will ask and report back. It sharpened the turn in, and the hairs on my neck, several degrees in both this and my manual 430, but without ruining things. It means you are 40% into a corner where previously you were 20% so you have to pay attention never to get to 120%.

Just to clarify, Ricambi is the exclusive dealer for these bars and all MSW products for the foreseeable future. As we all know, Daniel is a great guy to work with and bends over backward for this community, and IMHO he's even a greater guy to work with from a vendor perspective. So anyone who's seriously interested in buying one of these bars, PLEASE contact Daniel directly to reserve your bar, and soon. Don't be left out and have to wait when the first batch is sold out and people are raving about them.

Daniel, John- Great price on the ARB. Last time I saw an HGTC or FHP bar for sale the price was nearly $4K.

Imagine if a brand new oem FHP bar was placed on BAT. It would probably go for more than 4k since theres a whole bunch of us that need the bar to complete the FHP package

Just sent Daniel an "I'm in" message for the 19mm bar for my stock SA. After 15 years of caring including recent heavy servicing/repairs it's time to make this SA a better car. Thank you CribbJ for making this happen.

@Cribbj only just seen this thread!

I'm glad you got to sample and drive Kents 575M.

During development we must have done some 30+ Dyno pulls to get that car just perfect, exactly like the way Kent wanted it - being a Pro test driver his feedback was exceptional. I kid you not he could even tell when I was a decimal point out on my throttle smoothing tip in! Haha

I'm absolutely super happy how all my hard calibration work and Kent's extremely detailed driving reports helped to refine the final car.

    Q. Did you drive it in both Normal and Sport too (?) Because it has differential driving modes unlike the stock 575M that we added into his fully custom firmware.

His final car is testament to just how 'unfinished' the stock 575M calibration was compared to what we finally achieved. It stands as one of my favorite Ferrari before and after conversions I ever did but boy did we spend hundreds of hours on it in the end!

As for the wheelspin, yes he still needs to upgrade his tires and just like Taz I strongly recommended Michelin PS4S too. Love them.

The ARB project is a great addition and if you need work to upgrade suspension ECUs too hit me up...

Trev I will let you know how it fares on my FHP 575 with new semi race tires (RE71R)

It’s still in the 40s (41 and rain as we speak) but supposed to warm up in the next week or two so I can finally do it.

    Should have an update tomorrow.

Yes, with the big ASB, it felt like I was driving a 2 ton racing kart. I know that sounds like an oxymoron and I definitely wouldn't use the word "nimble" but it was stable and predictable with a lot of tail wagging, which I personally enjoy a lot and am comfortable with.

We did, and for me the difference was most noticeable during hard launches which were definitely "hard" in Normal, but absolutely brutal in Sport. I honestly don't remember feeling a lot of difference in the handling through the sweepers however.

It's become my favorite car to drive hard now and I frankly can't wait to visit our friend again & get behind the wheel (if he'll allow it :)).

For sure I think the 575M suspension ECU could use some tweaking as I personally couldn't feel much difference in the handling of the car other than the launches. It may be so subtle that only owners that know their cars inside & out can feel the difference, and that's with a stock performing car, but our friend's 575M is now an uncaged & uncorked beast, and I think the subtlety of the Sport mode is buried and perhaps lost somewhere in the "HOLY SH*T" experience.

I should have the bars sometime next week, and hopefully can inspect them & get them to Daniel by the following week.

Would you recommend these tyres over PS4Ss? I have the latter on my 575 and my 430 (as well as my other cars). Brilliant tyres but maybe slightly soft sidewalls than should be, for a racier experience. But, we have mixed quality roads here and wouldn't want tramlining and hop skip and jumping when the surface is not perfect.

    I would caution
On the positive side: Incredible steering precision, grip level, braking performance. Realize the grip even when cold (assuming > 60deg F / 15deg C ambiant) is higher than my other cars with 4S. Never had any hop issues
Negative side: Much harsher ride (they are HARD tires.... same hardness as my old worn hard as rock Pirrelli), low life (last likely 5-10k miles top). They tramline slightly on my Ferraris, more so on my BMWs. The tramline symptoms get much better as the tires warm up.
