Thanks Daniel, It is your if you want it…. The only problem is that it is a paper plate written in Texta, so it is not so nice. Image Unavailable, Please Login May the Horse be with you
So pleased you are enjoying your freshly calibrated bespoke 599! It's amazing how much these things come alive with a bit of enzo fairy dust sprinkled on them! [emoji6] Sent from my CPH2145 using Tapatalk
Aaron, Good to hear you like the tune from Trev. I will be experimenting with some of Trev's tunes (through Sammyf) and settings with my 599 and hope to have the same experience as you! K
Thanks Trev, I even took it for a drive last night and it is so much nicer to drive just at regular speeds. Thanks Again
Congrats on the 599 she's beautiful! You have a 575 too? and its in for the conversion? thats awesome!!!! I can't wait to see it.
It’s at Exoticar. These did this 575 Conversion. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login May the Horse be with you
Congrats Condor Man. Just the fact that you have owned some pretty spectacular Ferraris and then to come back full circle to the 599 speaks volumes to how special 599s are. I 100% agree with you.
I think all Ferrari's are special and deserve a spot int he garage. The 599 was light years ahead of anything in period, just as the F12 was. They are worth celebrating!
I picked up this luggage set today to go in the 599. Very fitting as the previous owner get the ones that came with my car! https://bringatrailer.com/listing/tan-3-piece-ferrari-599-gtb-luggage-set-by-schedoni/ May the Horse be with you
Lovely set of luggage! At $2k a piece, I would be reluctant to use them...but t I suppose that would be the same for folks who say that about driving a ferrari and the cost of it.
After driving my 575 in manual all day today, I had the opportunity to drive a 599 GTB owned by a member here in converted OEM style manual and it was absolutely off the charts and perfect in every way! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login The 599 GTB really free revs like my 992 GT3 and the whole package was just brilliant. Whilst the 575 is absolutely 100% better in Manual as the F1 system was very old and made the car pitch and dive a lot. The 599 just comes alive in the Manual and I can see a lot of these cars being converted in the future for sure! The guys at Exoticars in NJ have come up with some improvements on the OEM shift rod setup and it has ironed out any sort of gear stick chatter or vibrations which is a must. Needless to say my 599 is now headed over to go get the manual conversion and I can’t wait!! May the Horse be with you
As you can imagine the work done on the 599 software to get it to this stage has been enormous, I don't think I'll ever recoup the investment made to fix the bugs Ferrari couldn't resolve but its been worth the effort. With the rev drop issue resolved as a gated car they are just amazing. Glad to be able to support the gated industry (including Exoticar and EAG) on making gated 599's perfect. Don't forget to ask them about the "breathed on" versions too, they really make a considerable difference to how they drive Enjoy!
Thank you Trevor, Thanks to people such as yourself that have made the fulfillment possible too! May the Horse be with you
Here we go again! The 599 was picked up today and is headed straight to NJ. I learnt an interesting thing about the car during one last drive today. As I was pulling into the truck the car kept dinging at me and kept going into neutral. I honestly thought something was wrong with the transmission! Turns out the drivers door was slightly open and as soon as it was shut the car went back to being normal! Thank God!! Thank God! I was like….. are you Fooking kidding me! I thought my transmission was gone!!! May the Horse be with you
Thanks Joe, She will be up there next week. Feel free to take her for a drive to let me know what you think before the works get done. May the Horse be with you
