Ha ha just realize who GameMaker is :-) Still waiting for my VIN for my Portofino M ...
I got my Portofino last august but the new beast will be with your cars Image Unavailable, Please Login
I know they look really similar but the V12 was calling me . I love both and me and my wife are trying to make a decision on if we keep the Portofino. Here is a picture of what the Portofino looks like in Florida . We love that car for now we are keeping both to see if it can work Image Unavailable, Please Login
My 2023 order will be almost a carbon copy of this. The wait is killing me as my order has not even been accepted into production yet. I am likely to be one of the last builds in late summer for an early fall delivery.
That looks really gorgeous - Congratulations ! Hope you'll get to enjoy many many awesome trips in it. Sorry if you've posted this before / elsewhere, but which color combo is this ? Thank you !
Silverstone over cuoio. Somewhat simple and classic. I was concerned about combining the cool color with the warm until I saw a Cali T in these very colors. Seemed to work. What did you decide on for your Roma?
Hey - Well, for the interior, I chickened out and went for Nero (with some Grigio chiaro stitching). For the exterior, I want a (dark) grey. I'm currently on Canna di fucile. I've never seen CdF in the flesh, however. My dealer did show me a few Silverstones and I hear (also on this forum) that the two are quite close. Hence my interest in greys .
4/10/23- The silence is deafening. I've heard nothing as expected and My Ferrari App does not tell me the "stage 85"..."stage 90" ...stuff. It never has. I got my three photos, but, never have I received the numeric "stage" updates. Any advise from those who have experienced this??
You only get the stage notes from your sales advisor. If the app shows all three photos your car should be on a boat headed your way. Ours took three months after departing Maranello to make it to San Diego, the dealer had no visibility between shipping and clearing customs. He did get the final invoice after the car was loaded on a truck from the Port of New Jersey. Not sure if shipping times have improved since last fall. The Ferrari App showed "waiting list" even after we took delivery, then finally switched to "owned." Our timeline from last year: ordered 3/27/21 allocated 2/23/22 VIN 4/16/22 first picture 6/1/22 second picture 6/8/22 loaded on a boat 6/9/22 third picture 6/11/22 confirmed at Port of New Jersey, waiting for customs 8/20/22 on a truck headed to San Diego 8/29/22 arrived at dealer 9/7/22 (dealer prep, PPF) picked up 9/23/22 1 year, 5 months, 1 week, 4 days from order to arrival app switched from "waiting list" to "owned" 10 Oct 2022
My understanding is production of the Portofino M will end mid-summer so if you have a confirmed allocation everyone should have their car by late summer or early fall.
5/12/23- no news on the Car, but invited to come drive a 296 today. I'm gonna do it, why not. They are pushing hard on ordering a 296, I guess that and the Roma are all they have to sell.
I was at the factory in late March doing the spec on my Portofino M and they said production had to be wrapped up by October. My car went 10 green last week according to my dealer. I am hopeful of an October delivery also. Gone for Grigio Ferro, black roof and Cuoio interior. Very excited is an understatement.
Drove the 296GTB this weekend, it was fast, it was also filled with the haptic controls/digital dash/confusing steering wheel. ! I did not feel comfortable in the car and the seats had NO LUMBAR, none. All it did was reinforce my love for the PM as a daily driver.
Just drove my wife's Portofino M home from her office. She parks in an underground garage and even in Comfort mode we set off a few car alarms on startup.. She said it was not the first time. I wonder if Wet mode might be a little more socially acceptable for startup. Image Unavailable, Please Login
5/26/2023 - 11:00 AM - Phone call from dealership- Car is on the truck headed to California! estimate of 1 week to land and prep car. Now more decisions have to be made about extended warranties and PPE option.
I went with PPF but declined extended warranty (13K). Will likely upgrade my Roma after 3-years. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
FWIW , I had my Portofino color corrected , full PPF wrap and ceramic coated 7500 all in . It’s well worth it because you never have swirl marks or micro abrasions on the paint. Super easy to maintain as well. Mine is Grigio T in color. Also did the same on my Nero D F8s ,same price.
