Having a BBQ/Potluck on August 13 at my place for FCA members and Ferrari Tifosi as well.

We will be meeting in Burnaby at the Central Park parking lot (off 45th Ave) for 11:00 am. Gives those attending the Spanish Banks Cars and Coffee a chance to get home, pick up their significant other and the menu item.

Then a drive through the back roads of Langley, Aldergrove and Abbotsford to my place. Some great entertainment planned as well.

Please RSVP to my email: [email protected] and indicate what dish you wish to bring along.

The main feature dish will be BBQ Spring Salmon (that I caught this year in Haida Gwaii).

So: appetizers, salads, rolls, desserts, vegetable dishes. Please indicate what you are bringing.

I see Jackson! I see Roy!

 

Yep!! A very fun evening. Roy continues to be very active with our Chapter of FCA. Jackson is new to us as he has recently relocated, but eager to participate in events.

In addition, Will Diefenbach, as new Chapter President of the Puget Sound Chapter of FCA and I have talked. So, look for some joint participation in events.
I'm looking forward to coming down for the tour of Butch Dennison's former shop.

Restoration Shop Tour
Saturday, April 1st

Formerly Dennison International Motorsports. See the restoration and craftmanship skills needed to prep customer cars for upcoming events and races.

The session will start promptly at 10:00. If you would like to join the Seattle/Eastside group for the drive down, plan to meet at the Newport Hills Park and Ride at 9:00 am right off of exit 9 on I-405. NW Vintage and Classics is located at 11203 Benston Dr E, Puyallup, WA 98372. If you search for it on Google maps it is still listed under Dennison International Motorsports. Optional lunch afterward will be at a local restaurant.

Peter Rychel is the new BC Chapter President, so he will be populating events.

Also, on body shops, I believe that Ferrari of Vancouver uses Craftsman Collision. FoV had a vial of touchup paint for my 1990 Testarossa made up for me and it was spot on.
I recommend that you talk to either Michael or Justin at Ferrari of Vancouver.
