599 Exhaust recommendation

Fiamghenni (Fabio) 6-1 headers:

Fabio's exhaust is excellent but expensive. I went with Fabspeed cat delete straight pipes and Tubi mufflers and I'm very happy with the result.

 

Fabio's is the best all round imo

 

The Tubi straight pipe looks just like the Fabspeed pipe for 3X the price.

 

I went with the Fabspeed Center resonator delete and valve controller.

We went for a drive with the FCA on Saturday and many people came up to me at lunch to comment on how good the car sounded!

Cheapest bang for buck for sure!

 

Where do you live? Cause I'd love to purchase Fabio's full exhaust with manifolds but it's illegal in Switzerland. (Virtually any exhaust is illegal here...)

 

Who would know? Cannot be a whole lot of 599 exhaust experts in Switzerland. Get it done in Germany.

 

Problem is not fitting, I can do it myself... its the technical inspection every 2 years. And if you get caught by the police.
Its easy to see that its not OEM.

 

Fabio's looks just like the 599 GTO OEM exhaust. Hard to believe the tech inspector would be that knowledgeable on Ferrari 599s.

 

If you order Fabio's system, take the small silencers after the cats which he ca do, instead of the tubes.
Ask him for "Daniel's" silencers, he constructed them for me.

Without, the car is much too loud for swiss, you will get trouble !
With these 2 small silencers, the car has the high pitched GTO sound at an absolute tolerable loudness level.

which inspector really knows how original headers and cats look like ?
Emission control is no problem, the car passes the german emission control without problems.

My 599 is actually running DZ-96 old system. Fabio Headers -> Fabio Race Cats -> Fabio Silencers -> STOCK Mufflers.

Same here in Germany.
It’s annoying and frustrating getting pulled out by the police to check the exhaust and measure loudness (if you drive an expansive sportcar).

Penalities are high, especially if cats are removed …

I placed an order through my workshop in February 2023... still waiting for it to be completed....

 

Hi, maybe you are right becuse for some owners standart 599 gtb sound is not so high but v12 sound is amazing. Instead of buying a new exhaust, you can always open the valves on the exhaust with a small operation if you want. I did the same and I am very happy with that, sound is very good from 1 to 8,5k rpm.
