I’ve been a combo of busy and lazy on the normal thread.

    https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/market-prices-575-manual-vs-575-f1-conversion-costs-vs-550.629834/page-42#post-149058163

The pricing for clean investment grade cars is always strong….this one is shockingly strong.

BaT just listed a euro with driver miles and an engine replacement so we should see some interesting “bookends”.

Despite high miles, engine replacement, patina, no options, my mind says it’s a dog, but when I see the pics, “that’s a NICE looking car.” I’m like a mosquito to a bug zapper when it comes to maranellos

As it pertains to the black euro..,,agreed. I’d buy it and drive the snot out of it but the price would have to be correct. Will be interesting how the tides treat this one on the BaT platform where craziness occurs daily.

Just an FYI for those that think the selling price was too much...I was thumbing through Sports Car Market magazine, and a 2001 550 with 17K on it recently sold at the Broad Arrow auction in West Palm Beach, FL for a staggering $280K. Grigio Titanium with Nero interior.

    It’s never too much.
The wealth out there looking for places to be put cannot be underestimated.

    Undervalued for what it is.

    Compare with the price for a 7k mile 2001 Diablo 6.0 / 2002 Murcielago - both manual.

Also what will you receive at the dealer for the current entry level new F car.

    240K does not buy much.

True, the 550 was not the entry level F car when it was a new car.

For those of us that are owners let the prices go up and up and up.

I wish my small collection wasn’t already semi-ridiculous and largely unused…and I had the wealth and space to also own a 575 and a 456….

I’m jealous and yet happy for people that have huge dollar collections and can throw down $200k+ for a Maranello.
