Is it 495 dollar for the rebuild per shock or for all four? Can they do 550 shocks aswell?

$495 is for the pair of rear 456 shocks. They seem to be a relatively high-volume, specialty shock rebuilder.....so a couple F car hydraulic shocks are not a big deal. Replace the seals and fluid and send them down the road. For the $495 they include freight either one or both ways....can't remember. From when they left with their label until I got them back was less than 2 weeks.

Is Delta Vee still in business????
They have the complete set of shock absorbers of my Ferrari 512 TR since December 2022 and do not respond to any phone calls or emails.
Now I have passed the deadline for Amelia Island.
Needless to say I am extremely concerned

I thought about rebuilding my 550 shocks but in the end I decided to go with KW(Novitec)coilovers. The other option is just buy 4 new shocks from Eurospares for $4,000. That’s $2,000 more than rebuilding but no hassle of waiting for the work to be done, and there’s probably some savings there, plus you know they’re the correct spec.

I am in the exact same situation with him. I sent my shocks all the way back in August and he has completely ghosted me. Made me pay up front and send him my shocks. Not a word. I'm filing a theft claim with my insurance company currently.

He's in Kalamazoo, surely there's an FChatter fairly near him who could visit his shop & see what's going on & report back?

It's crossed my mind to fly there. I'm going to see what State Farm Insurance comes up with for me first. They said they'd be tracking him down as well.

Yes. Someone should check on him. I havent heard a response to my email in months and he is holding $3500 of my deposit. The last email I sent was I was planning to change course from original plan and to send my shocks. Didn’t get a reply.

It was a while ago (I started this thread) but I had to threaten to sue him. He has a couple of alternative phone numbers if you google his name and address, etc.

I will never go back even for warranty claim.

I think the state may license or monitor auto repair. You could file a complaint there.

I've sent an email to Michigans fraud department (see below for reference).

    https://www.michigan.gov/sos/report-fraud

    • Relevant and detailed information about the fraudulent or suspicious activity:
      - Robert Schermerhorn with Delta Vee Motorsports LLC, 10590 West KL Avenue | Kalamazoo, MI | 49009 | USA, 888.407.5122 ,
[email protected], physical description --> https://www.linkedin.com/in/robschermerhornjr/)
      - I purchased a shock rebuild from his website per his instructions on the phone. He made me pay in advance and then ship him my irreplaceable ferrari 456GT shocks. From there he wouldn't ever respond to any of my correspondences. Took my money ($2k) and my shocks ($5k to replace). In addition, I am paying for the repair shop here locally to store my ferrari as it's immobile. I am out close to 10k if there's no solution here.
      - Location of Fraud: Both online and at his physical place of business (where we shipped the shocks)
      - The incident started in August of 2022
      - Tye of Fraud: Services not rendered, theft of my shocks
      - There is a large group that has knowledge of his fraudulent activity and you can see some of the threads here: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/delta-vee.581876/page-5

A real shame since he did such good work for so long, even if he was slow.

Agreed! He did great work for me back in the day. He was/is a great resource. But if all the problems posted here are true that really sucks for all parties.
