I am reading this thread a few years after the latest posting, but if anyone is able to tell me if I can use the AntiGravity Brand H7/Group-94R (not sure what Group-49 or Group-94R means) for my 2014' FF it would be much appreciated.... my car is still cranking up with Interstate battery from a few years ago, but without the ability to use a tender I am always concerned it may not turn over after sitting for a couple of weeks... where I live they only have the H7 and to order the H8 could be 6 weeks or longer... i may wait for the correct size, (the H8 length is 1"3/4 longer than the H7 length) and should be fine, but I would prefer to change it sooner than later... thanks guys as i am excited based on the posts to go with the AG Battery...!!! The Group number is just another representation of size

In theory it shouldn't really be an issue, a lot of german cars battery trays have multiple mounting slots for h7/h8 but knowing ferrari there is no doubt in my mind that only the h8 will mount up exactly with the bracket. That's not to say an H7 won't mount up but I'm guessing it doesn't.

If you battery is working fine for now, I'd suggest ordering the H8 and waiting. It's not a cheap battery and you'll likely kick yourself for not waiting.

thanks Vee.... I have followed your advice and ordered the H8, if it wasn't Ferrari I would roll the dice on the H7, but it is and I find it sound advice to install proper Ferrari everything... so the H8 it is.... thanks again.

I am considering buying an FF and would have to park it in a shared garage with no power outlets. How long can the FF sit with a normal battery between uses and without issues?

I'd say 10 days, maybe 12 days if the battery is more or less brand new and can keep it's charge good. After 2 years it may be down 2 days, so 8 days or 10 days if you're lucky. Give take a day and all that.... Oh and you will get things like "Systems not programmed" anyway after say 5-6-7-8 days or so - it is more or less the first sign of a weak charge....

go with the Anti-Gravity battery...agreed not cheap at nearly $1300.00 but since use of a tender for me isn't feasible then this battery is a major stress reliever...my Interstate was near end of use date so I rolled the dice based on previous thread comments and it has worked out great... fires up the V12 instantly even after a few weeks parked... purchasing interstate battery from dealer and having it installed was only a few hundred less than this AG battery and installation was not that bad... as a matter of fact the hardest part was removing the 2018' boat anchor interstate battery... the AG is 40% lighter and it makes on huge difference when installing and using the heat blanket/wrap. I'll give an update down the road, but so far, so good. Good Luck

i have one for my 2016 F12. it has been over 1 year and works flawlessly. it has corrected lazy warm start problems i was having.

the longest i have let it sit was around 30 days where it did trigger the safety shut off. i had to press the key fob provided that initiates the backup/jump start and everything was fine again.

when it gets low now around 57% i plug in ctek lithium tender.

Hi Sorry to resurrect an old thread. Dusty - how did you get on with the 60Ah Antigravity? I was going to put 80Ah on but impossible to source anytime soon in UK. I can get the 60Ah and being told it is more than enough as the CCA are double that of the Lead Acid battery.

Is everyone here still satisfied with their lithium batteries? I had another AGM get low on me despite being on a tender so I wanted to check and see what the feedback was.

My issue is that I drive my two kids (1 and 4) in the car and it takes a few minutes to get everybody loaded up, which can (if one of the kiddos is tired or upset) take enough time that the battery gets weak. I usually start the car first but I’m getting tired of that.
