In 1969, Kelsey Hayes made a wheel that was to be optional on certain Mopars. The W23 Road wheel. It was recalled due to the lug nuts not holding torque and the wheel centers cracking. So it's commonly known as the 'recall wheel'.

There are some sets out there but all in 15x6. I had a set made in 15x8 and 15x10. Thought it was a nice retro tie in as they would have been an option on a Hemi 69 Charger.

Just found this rust free 1959 series 60 special in an apartment a few blocks from my house while inquiring about a couple parking spots for rent …. Made a deal for $8,000 cad and cut the property owner a check on the spot . Think I got a good price although last time it was on the road was 2016 and it came with a free cm of dust :)

it’s American but not muscle lol half right still counts ?

agreed but if a coupe deville it would be worth more like $50k cad in same condition . 60 series special does have the coupe deville rear windshield line and is a no post car . Rarer then a coupe but even in this condition it’s probably worth $40k cad cleaned up with new tires a battery and a tune up . All my 50’s cars are coupes so I prefer them but can’t pass up a rare car for 25% of its value ( roughly ) even the front corner vent windows are power lol

Haha, thanks but it looks better in photos. It's very beat up. If you need any help/info getting yours up and running again let me know. I found mine sitting like this since 1978 with a seized engine (this is about 10 years ago now) and paid double what you did.

Sounds like u stole it ;) I love a lil patina anyways . Have a mechanic that works for me on weekends at my warehouse/mancave and he really knows his stuff . Without him I could not enjoy my hobby as I do . My pink 56 is in the same boat as urs it seems . Looks incredible in pics but is an older restoration with some flaws as u get with in 3-4 feet …..
Did u rebuild the original engine ? white is so classy I find myself staring at ur pics over and over lol

Realized I posted my C3 but forgot about that beauty that was built on demand then delivered to the South West of France.

I purposely kept it reasonable with a 302 instead of slapping a monster in that. Car is so light it’s still plenty of power.

In the meantime, I also ordered a kit from Factory Five that I’m having delivered to China for a special project I’m working on.. exciting high voltage stuff ahead :D

Well now I know who owns the 1 SD 455 T/A with the sunroof! I too own a 74 SD T/A and have owned it since around 2010. Pontiac RULES!

I have followed you through Hemmings Muscle Machines magazine for years and have always liked your consistency. What I wonder is how you managed to get out of the hole with those bias ply tires on it? I too have and have had for 13 years now, my own 1974 SD 455 T/A.Its a bear like yours. Wonderful setup in these without sacrificing dependability. Too bad perhaps 75% of them have found a demise by the rust or the crusher.

I totally agree. It’s the absolute last car I would part with. Slowest car I own, but also stirs the most passion.

I just picked up this 1966 Corvette a week or two ago. It's a 300hp 327 4-speed. All numbers matching driveline - block, heads, intake, carb, alternator, transmission, rear end, etc.
