not a fan of this at all. motor gets new chip for extra 40hp and they cut 200lbs content out. obligatory wheels, tires, suspension, aero. same 8sp auto transmission. no stick. no dct. $140000 (if you can actually get allocation)

i dont get it. its still too heavy and big at well over 3500lbs. its a german mustang at triple price. cayman gt4 much superior at 50% less. its like a rwd gtr from 15 yrs ago.

bmw lost their way. maybe this works if it had a stick.

The grill alone gives me pause, before getting to weight.

I will say, I had an F80 M3 with cloth seats, CCBs, 6MT- it was awesome. I got offered an F80 M3CS, so I took it. I regret it…. But, the CS was no simple upgrade for more money. It transformed the car on track- effortless/cautious sub 2:10 at VIR in damp conditions. Astonishing really. I didn’t like it for daily driving with the DCT.

Now its being offered as m3 csl 4 door with awd. I kinda like it. Has 5 seat capability that m5 doesn't. Will handle way better than my audi rs5. And getting used to ugly grill. Still pricy at 120k but so is new rs5 competition. Wonder if m3 allows disconnect awd?

That is probably the most fugly interior Ive seen on car, can we watch netflix on it too all that shiney cosmetic CF. Its like BMW really don't have a clue and are just overdoing everything. Classy its not.

Depends on the model and options. From approximately 3200 up to around 4,000 lbs. I have a Targa GTS 4 coming soon and I bet its a a tank - almost as heavy as an SF90. :)

My point was everything has gotten big and heavy these days. Everyone talked **** about the 996 for how big and heavy it was. Look at it now and I think it is actually smaller and lighter than the current Cayman.
