Regarding the two-tones 212 Inter Vignale Cabriolet 0209EL, there is a better pic here, at 1954 Agadir race. you are sure with this number: 0250?? as I remember at that time all 12 cylinder street cars had odd numbers, only the 12 cylinder race cars had even numbers and the non 12 cylinder cars
It’s not a street car but a sport car. This PF berlinetta (s/n 0250MM) is the one crashed by Franco Rol a few weeks later in the Giro di Sicilia (#429).
Some PF berlinettas sometimes received slightly more luxurious than average finishes. And a few cars have even become real « stradale » for a road use...

Very, very minor addendum: Should read Charles R. Hassan rather than Hassen. Thank you for this wonderful thread, Cyril. I eagerly await all of your posts(!).
Great stuff. But unfortunately, the photos are very small. Has anybody contact information to the Automobile Club of Agadir??
I think this woman has access to all the Agadir period pictures : http://mfd.agadir.free.fr/qi1930-60/personnalites/rterrier/rterrier.html Unfortunately, no email but you can try to reach her through the Agadir history website : https://www.agadir1960.com/email.php
Hello, don't know if the "smaller" races fit in your thread... Here is Rallye Soleil Cannes, 29.03. - 02.04.1953 sport cars over 2.000 ccm: S/N 0236 M / Nr. 560 / Picard - Barraquet / 1. IC (pic can be found in Maurice Louches "Emotion Ferrari", page 80) sport cars til 2.000 ccm: S/N 0244 M / Picard - Astri / 2. IC Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry, not Picard, but Pagnibon sport cars over 2.000 ccm: S/N 0236 M / Nr. 560 / Pagnibon - Barraquet / 1. IC
And yet, like in most vintage sports cars, the interior of the “0250 MM” appear so austere, minimalistic and simple compared to actual “luxury” cars of its/their time and/or since. OTOH, in true “(ultra-)luxury” cars the interior details, finishes and material selections are usually focused in the rear of the passenger compartment, as the drivers area is/was occupied by the help, i.e. the chauffeur.
Image Unavailable, Please Login Yes, « smaller » races can fit in this thread, thanks ! Never seen a pic of Picard’s 0244M at this race. Pagnibon car was 0236MM...
250MM PF Berlinetta went through an interesting transition. After making the six first cars it already started to turn out racing customers preferred a spider, and they also seriously developed the 4-cylinder cars at the the time providing significantly more torque urgently needed on slower circuits. After 0270MM they only built 2 cars for pure racing purposes, about all the rest became "sort of" luxury grand tourers for rich customers. It is particularly interesting as they had by 1953 already created what would become the ultimate GT concept: short wheelbase berlinetta with a 3-litre Colombo-engine.
Everybody knows the photo of the PF body in the backyard of the factory in late 50’s but I would give anything to find out what happened to 0236MM frame. Probably rebody but in what form ?
Do we have photos that prove the frame was not there? I think it could have been a frame + body with everything else stripped for parts. All 5Ws remains unanswered (who, what, where, when, why) - don't even know who painted that nose ring...
With the Scaglietti body #19 in the background of the pic (frame receiving a Fantuzzi body), I’m still convinced the car has been rebodied in something but not proof at all...
