1. He has his car cover on backwards (shouldn’t use it anyway) 2. I bet he really has owned 17 ‘porches’.. lots of rental trailer homes have them. 3. Sad to see someone so naive and ignorant (and seemingly disturbed) on our boards. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
One might like one or the other, but calling McLarens rubbish? They are fantastic motorcars! A few years ago I sat at a dinner table next to legendary Lamborghini test driver Valentino Balboni. When I asked him which was his favourite car, he told me that Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche et. al, all build fantastic cars. He is a wise man! What a legend! Fluent in English, French and German, apart from his native Italian. Such a gent!!!
How do you all compare these cars to a Huracan Performante, EVO, Tecnica or STO? I currently own a F430 and am thinking about a future replacement. I’ve driven a few 570s but they had me missing the Italian flair and character. The NA V8 in the F430 is pretty entertaining so that is why I’ve thought about the Huracan route….even though they do not have the performance of the turbo cars. Thanks!
He’s a special man indeed, seeing the good in all cars. I’d love to take him out in one of my cars and entertain him, I’d be happy to provide all the narration. Pretty much correct, the STO is a drama queen and if you want on par performance with the F8, put in a VF Engineering tune and blower.
That's really how I feel about all Lambo's. Yes, the sweet V10 is amazing, but the cabin feels claustrophobic and the visibility both forward, aft, and everywhere in between is like piloting a tank with a periscope that's broken. And don't get me started on the Aventador. That single clutch transmission is like a commercial for Dramamine. Suicide doors are cool, until you have to actually use them more than 2x in a drive. Then you wish you had Mary Lou Retton on speed dial.
