Yes, the result should be interesting. I have read all of the comments on BaT. Just a few observations. 1. There was a comment regarding 99,940 miles on the car in 2000, but no discussion. 2. The Red Book is dated 2014 and the car was repainted sometime in the past in Anaheim...not that a repaint would alter the Red Book. Just interesting to note. Also, the rocker panel paint was discussed. 3. The interior looks almost new: seats, mats, dash, etc. for a car with over 100,000 miles. There is no mention of an interior redo in the write-up. And speaking of the interior ..... the wind wings were locked. As mentioned in another thread, "Never lock the wind wings ..... as a matter of fact, don't even look at them". This appears to be a very nice "new' original Dino and the new owner should be very happy.
about the wind wings it looks like the locks are the 'restomod drill through with outside button style' as opposed to the stick on ones which come unstuck... photo 45 Image Unavailable, Please Login
$656,000 with BAT commission. Car was in better than good but no quite excellent condition. I think what held it from $700k was: mileage unknown, had some cosmetic defects, red.
