After having a friend work at Pasha, not sure I want them touching my car haha.

wouldn’t mind bringing something over for a few months.

If you want affordable, Pasha and Matson etc. are about the only options other than air freight. Expect damage either way.

I've been at the dock watching them drive cars off the boat. The hot cars got hot rodded for sure. There was a guy with a Lamborghini that was going nuts doing doughnuts in the parking lot. The place is very secure and hard to get in to, so they don't think anyone will see them. Nothing got crashed when I was there, but I've heard of that happening as well.

I flew mine in. There is a thread here that discusses it at length.

Flying to Hawaii is expensive. Hawaii to the west coast is almost free!

I shipped mine with Matson in an enclosed container. If you don't specify a container, I understand that they can ship the car on an open deck. The leg over to the Big Island from Oahu was with Young Bros. They had to remove it from the container and secure it to the deck. I had no problems.
