Incredible car. Love the no carbon. Love the colors and trims. Love the painted shields. Love the silver wheels. Perfect spec.
Oh wow, car went from 10G to 30 in two days. Excited. Anyone have a ballpark of how long it takes from 30 to dealer? (no TM or Atelier bits)
I was getting myself all twisted up with indecisions so I decided to go back to the original color I chose when I put my deposit down summer of 21. I've found through experience that when uncertain, to trust how I was moved to build the car in the beginning and to default back to it.
Makes sense. Love the CDF wheels against Scuro, and the contrast between leather and alcantara. Can’t wait to see the result!!
The overseas shipping (if it applies) is the biggest unknown. I would expect a 'regular' production should have a completed car within 6 weeks or less from 30 (Painting stage), then shipping, however long that takes and recently overseas + port delays is 3 months or more additional time.
Thank you. Do dealers have access to the name of the ship whenever it gets on board or is that a mystery to everyone?
The dealer can reach out to FNA/Factory and get that information, but usually it seems you will have to push them to do that. But, once it arrives in the port, it enters a dark period where there really is no information until it is shipped by FNA to the dealer.
As many many have said .. ferrari app is just not up to par …some have said car in garage before first vin. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Ferrari app sucks. My car is in production and it still says I’m on waiting list and has the old build I submitted in 2021
I think all of us say waiting list till car is delivered. As long as it's showing a VIN and you get production pics at some point you're golden.
You may be correct, but the ferrari gods do watch — never say “ ferrari” and “s. “ in the same sentence.. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Just got the first picture of my F8 Spider and it still says waiting list. I do have a VIN, chassis# 292790. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Best guess 4-8 weeks but it depends on level of Atelier and many other factors including how prompt the photo is & how testing goes
Are the order books closed for the GTS? I thought they were for both 812 varieties? Maybe similar to the trickle of f8 Spiders rolling in?
Long ago but they are still making them and filling orders as allocations come up. Similar to the F8S. Word on fchat is they will be making the GTS through 2023
Our 812 GTS is on the Vienna Express anchored just outside of the Port of New York and scheduled to unload on April 12th. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
