So, I have only put 144 miles on the car since I got it. It has been over six months of ownership. Now, I decided---I am going to drive it a lot. Take a few road trips, drive it at least once-twice a week. What should I be doing to help with any value? Only thing I think of is adding a Bra to prevent the chips that come from the road.
Put some Lamin-X type protection film on fog lamps, they are prone to getting stone hit. The plastic film in thicker version provides some cushioning effect. I also put a thinner Lamin-X on the stainless steel door sills, one tends to drag a shoe over the trim when getting in and out of the car, and can scratch the stainless steel sil.
Take the door sills off and repaint the sills , mine were going rusty. I then filled the sill in underseal .
I recall they were bonded in place, but i refitted them with AVK inserts and stainless dome head allen screws, so i could take them off to check the paint under them
