Between May when I got the car until late December I put on almost 5k miles. Has been great but a few very minor issues:
    - Front transmission oil cooler hose clamp(or hose) loosened at the cooler fitting. Caused a few drips on the garage floor. I simply replaced the clamp and it's been dry. At first I thought I had spilled some oil when I did my oil change.
    - Electrical: We jammed too much stuff in the trunk on a trip and the trunk lid switch got confused. Took some fooling to get the trunk open but never had to force it. So we're just careful about how much we put in the trunk.
    - Electrical: Biggest issue is around the audio. There are times the screen will open and look like it's playing music(I use a very old iPhone as an iPod), but the speakers don't pop up and the amp doesn't turn on. I figured out that if the ignition is shut off and then turned back on between 9m30s and 10m0s, the amp may not wake up. I have to let the car go to sleep for about 10 minutes, then it all comes back fine. I may build a circuit where I can trigger a reset on CAN or MOST(the optical bus). We've already reverse engineered the CAN and MOST bus in this car, so I could offer a full customizable DSP to replace the amp and still allow speaker drivers(for all speakers, plus the motors for the dash speakers). But not worth it yet. I just try to avoid cycling ignition around that time period. My car is a very early serial number and used the 2nd Gen entertainment system. I could go to the 3rd gen but not worth the cost.

Otherwise, it's mostly been cleaning up detailing things from previous owners. Has a little under 25k miles now.

The later '14's and up should have better and more stable entertainment systems. Overall the car seems very stout and wants to be driven. It could be used carefully as a daily driver. Does fine even in the rain.

    Get one!

Long time owner of a 2007 DB9. Currently installing VelocityAP Headers/Cats/Stainless Exhaust and treating a timing cover leak. Other than that, it's been relatively maintenance free over the past 11 years or so. Absolutely my favorite car that I've ever owned (and like the OP, I've owned or driven some of the best around!).

I own 3 exotics (from the 2000's) that were each $200K new. Two have depreciated by half.
Sadly, the DB9 has fallen 75%. But that makes them more affordable to you new owners.
