Does your car's brake light bulbs have dual elements? i.e. are they used for sidelights and brake lights? If so, try removing these bulbs and put another fuse in. If these bulbs are not seated properly or they are shorted, they might cause fuse 10 to blow.

So I did take out the #7 out as well as a few harness and still popped.

So when I do put a new fuse in, the front trunk light turns on so does all the lights that pop the fuse with in 2 seconds lol. So i know all the instruments lights do work and are still working but something is causing it to short. Tomorrow i can take out the dimmer little black box hooked into the speedo at the back. I have a few things apart. If you have a wiring diagram to show would be good. I may have to call in a friend to help me.

Weird as it just happened while driving no real reason. I thinking hard and i really appreciate your help

I also seen some old posts of you helping others. I wondering if a bad rely would cause this but wouldn't it cause more issues as i seen in other threads.

Would love a 2 min phone chat if that was possible lol.

The break light bulbs are 2 single separate bulbs smaller version of a 1156 or 1157 half that size,

I would first unplug the connectors from the tail lights and disconnect the inline connector for the license plate lights.

Ah, so just a single contact on the bulb base.

@Miro: Does your car have only one lamp on each side of the car for sidelights? That would be contrary to the wiring diagrams.

Looks like I forgot about the licence plate lights. They are spliced to the right hand side inner sidelights in the Euro wiring diagrams.

Sorry, I'm not so good with impromtu conversations. I need to do some research for every answer I give

The relay ("B") supplies power to the fuse. It can stop the lights working, but it wouldn't blow the fuse.

By the way, Miroljub has a lot of practical experience with 348 electrics. He often goes the problem straight away. It usually takes me some time to get there :p

Check those licence plate lights (and wiring). Also, the lampholders are probably quite rusty.

    (EDIT)

It looks like yours is different from the Euro lights

According the Euro diagrams, the bulb on the outside should have a different fuse. The two on the inside should be powered by fuse 10.

It's definitely not a relay issue. All the relay does is supply power to the fuse when the lights are turned on. If the relay wasn't working, the fuse wouldn't blow.

Stuck until you get new fuses. Did you disconnect the licence plate lights before you blew your last fuse?

Lighting issues are sometimes caused by the marker lights on the side of the car.

Look for wiring damage and faulty bulbs/bulb holders. You may have to remove wheel arch liners to get to them. Whether they are on the same fuse, I don't know. Maybe someone has a USA wiring diagram?

I see the rear lamp arrangement from this online manual page.

I'm wondering if the side marker lights (I) are linked to the outer rear lights (H) or the inner ones (C).

There should be a single connector behind the bumper below the right hand lights

Yes that's correct! All done all put back together.

It seems license plates, running back and front lights as well as side bumper lights front and back. Cluster bulbs and gas bulbs all work together on that #10 geeez!
