And 1 min. 27 ont the second of his category, a Porsche 2.3 ST. Not that bad with only 8 laps. The public was very enthusiastic with this car. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Absolutely no. The "B" refers to the French city Béziers and "John" refers to "Jean". It is J.-R. G. of Béziers. A Frenchman in the plastic industry, born 1956 and heading no fewer than 48 companies. See also 512 BB LM #28601..........and many others too. Marcel Massini
merci Nembo, pour toutes ces magnifiques photos. aujourd'hui, les seules fois ou l'on est sûr, c'est quand l'on rencontre des récentes.
I would not say my humble cell phone photos are magnificent, not by a long shot LOL but it was very enjoyable and a beautiful day weather wise, it felt good to be there. Also wanted to tell an anecdote. As I stood on that bridge yesterday I started talking with the older local Gentleman next to me and it turned out that he had owned a number of interesting cars many decades ago when they were cheap including several Ferraris. One of these was a Boano that is now owned by a man living partly in Paris, Ananda C, whom I visited to inspect his Maseratis a few years ago! I saw the Boano there too; how is that for a small world! This Gentleman said he was giving me all his old Ferrari books! I will meet him again soon he lives just 30kms away and near where we stood, I am sure there will be some great tales.
John of B is an excellent driver and a very generous person. In 2011 when I was going to test a 512BBLM for a Classic & Sports car article it was initially going to be his 28601 and happen in Valencia Spain a day or two before a race he was due to take part in. Alas I had a family issue and could not go. In the end I drove Nicolas C's 30559 the ex Preston Henn car at Paul Ricard.
29 December 2016, interior of 0635GT. Hectic day was busy photographing his other cars for inspection so no time for this one, plus it was a black car in a pitch dark garage. Image Unavailable, Please Login
