I can see a few lines from the FXXK Evo, I guess the rumours about that being a canceled XX programme are true

@day355 has been unusually quiet on this one - any insight you can provide? HP? Production Numbers? New features?

I have already explained the story of the car vs FXX, the rear overhang... We will leave the few surprises that remain to the marketing department...
I'm not particularly interested in it, it's not really what I like... but I respect the pleasure and the expectation of those who think differently

    Should we expect a lighter F250 ?

I recall your story vs. the FXX, I don't remember hearing about the rear overhang but I'll go back through older posts. I know it's not something you're interested in, but I appreciate you sharing whatever you have thus far.

I'm really curious how usable it will be vs. a standard SF90. I'm surprised by how comfortable the SF90 is, I wonder how much will be sacrificed for the VS, including whether or not it loses front axle lift as well.

Only a couple months to go.

I've mostly been a lurker :) Took delivery of my SF90 at the end of last year and it's been one of my favorite Ferraris of all time. Tons of fun to drive, beautiful in person and incredibly usable. I'm very curious what they do with the VS.

the brake vents that remind me of the gt3 car

also, rearding production numbers, here is a guess? https://www.autoevolution.com/news/2024-ferrari-sf90-vs-prototype-rocks-huge-rear-wing-looks-almost-ready-to-debut-213887.html says "Only 999 units of the coupe and 599 units of the open-top grand tourer will be made, with all cars allocated to customers who meet a strict criteria. "

seems like a lot of units to me esp for a 1m+ car. prob looking to stack $2b+ from it.

May I ask if it is the standard car or the AF one? The AF is said to be pretty stiff.

Standard. I drove both and AF wasn't too bad but I needed the front axle lift and wanted something I could use a lot so I opted for the standard suspension. I love the way the AF spoiler looks but I wasn't going to compromise usability.

"incredibly usable" for a car with almost no luggage space is a being a proper full-glass person :)

    I usually am :)

The frunk is tiny, but this is also not a road-trip car for me. I’ve rarely used the majority of the frunk space in any of my mid engined cars.

I spoke to someone at Ferrari, and they said no on that rumor. Not accurate.

DAY has already said that the SF90 Vs is based off a canceled XX project for the SF90.
What he shares to date on most things has been bang on.

Rumors I heard which could be true or not true: SF90 VS will only have a moderate power boost vs the regular sf90. The main selling point is weight saving; it will shed an additional 80kg over the fiorano package sf90. The price is less than 812 Competizione in China but it's mainly due to the tax situation (hybrids get taxed way less than v12 NA). It doesn't seem to be a more scarce car than 812 C, at least in China. Everyone who got an 812 C allocation that I know of has received that of SF90VS as well.

Who is DAY? Sure there are commonalities, but not “based on”. I have heard so many rumors on so many Ferrari things, but we will see the car very soon, I know the date, but won’t write it here.
