I am thinking of selling my scud. It has a rebuilt title but damage was in 2012 at 5k miles. Car was repaired in 2013 by the previous owner and he put 8400 miles on the car. No chassis damage. I have owned the car 2 years and have put another 3200 trouble free miles on the car. Car has 16,600 miles on it now. I'd put it against any clean title car. It is an amazing car.

hey guys, new to the FC forum, but i think i see some familiar names from rennlist (“Drl”). I am thinking of offloading one of my GT3s for a first Ferrari, and struggling over Scud vs 458. Are you referring to the scuderia red car still sitting at Denver?

The FoD car was initially advertised as Ferrari Approved (although they wanted an additional $10k for the warranty). It’s no longer showing as Approved though.

It's because it's been on the market for almost a year. The car is now past the age that is allowable for CPO (15 years)

Looked at a car over the weekend, admittedly very clean, 20K miles. Seller wont budge at just under $300K. ??

Sounds like it is priced way over market. Recent auction results would put it around 250k or so.

I agree, way over-priced. Last Scuderia on Bring a Trailer brought $245,500 with 20k miles.

There are 23 Scuds (no accident cars) on the market today. The vast majority are circa $300k and up (with two high mileage outliers at a lower price point). None of them are moving and have been for sale for a very long time. Seems the Ferrari dealers are willing to hold out and play the long game.

What do we think Ferrari dealers would bid for either a 10k or 20k mile car if taken to them today as a trade in?

I was told a dealer recently paid $300k for a 10k mile car. Must have been a proper 1 off spec.

Amazing - I honestly dont see even one 10k mile car ever trading hands at that price in the last 3 years on all the auction sites

As a direct buy, I seriously doubt that, 10K scuds are not trading at that value. As a trade-in, maybe. I can see where a buyer demands a certain number for their trade, but the dealer just makes-up the difference by over-pricing the new vehicle.

Almost: 3 BAT results (all under 10k miles) have gone over 300k (with fees) during 2022 (peak pricing). The highest being the black one that sold 9/2022 for 310k not including fees (so 315). All depends on spec, and "who is in the room." BAT can have some confounding results. A plain jane silver, but clean 996 gt2 (albeint with great presentation) just went for 220, which is kissing clean 997 gt2 values. If you get a critical mass of folks that want a particular spec, all bets are off I guess.

I have been on the fence about selling mine. Still considering pricing, 6206 miles in Rosso Scuderia with a one off spec of white stripes with a green border. Purchased from Curated 6 years ago.
