Beauty is absolutely not subjective, it has codes that are universal !
you can put a 288 gto and a 296 side by side in a street, and ask 100 Ferrari owners to vote for the most beautiful, and you will achieve the same result over and over again.

I haven’t looked at it in detail actually as I’m not a fan of any SUV or anything with 4 doors… and I missed the unveiling at Ft. Lauderdale Ferrari as well which I did want to go to— but from my quick scan and look, it’s nice but just doesn’t stand out as something for 4-500k should or something that says Ferrari…. I’ll admit, I am VERY much about aesthetics even more than features or even performance. Designs, flowing lines, symmetry, Pretty things and those pretty things in Perfect condition— expensive things should LOOK expensive, classy, elegant etc… and I don’t mean just cars. Everything including women :)

… guess that’s why my company is OCDetails lol - only OCD with cars though, not life overall.

Wheels are to big. Waaaay to big.

Remember when we made fun of 1990's Cadillac's with 22" wheels? Well, here we are.

I disagree. Without question the 288 GTO is a great looking car, could you sell a car styled like the 288 today with various regulations: probably not. For me I look at the 296 side profile and and I see 250 LM, I look at the front of a 430 and I see 156 "sharknose".

What I am saying is cars styling is often determined by the era they were built and in the current era, compared to its peers the 296 is to me a great looking car.

I love the Roma front grid. It gives the car a sharp looks while emphasizing its color.

Overall the Roma looks stunning. Though Ferrari cheated a bit as the car is almost 2 meters wide (for a GT!)

You don’t understand the word objective. There was a time the Enzo and F50 called ugly by the majority of so called ‘smart people.’ Today there are still many detractors. Besides, what does it matter if even if the Commendatore himself said his cars are not the ‘best’? German car makers are the ones that obsess over that metric. (Whatever it means to them.)

Nothing wrong with thinking car X is beautiful OR ugly, it’s part of the fun of cars. Really the only wrong opinion the person here claiming some universal rule, if that was true than every car would look nearly the same over the last 100 years.

My bigger issue w/ the larger wheels is tire costs and ride comfort. It seems obvious now, but I didn't realize how much smoother a ride can be with a little bit of sidewall..

Well, you know the old saying, " Beauty and contact lenses are in the eye of the beholder". I think the Roma is gorgeous.
