The sf90 modificata based on opposite style codes. Not sure what that means?

If there's going to be a SF90 Modificata, then the LM must have a huge performance increase in order to still be relevant against the improved M version. Which means the LaFerrari successor must be even crazier than the LM. Could we be talking about 1300Hp for the next halo car? I'm daydreaming now...

I was thinking of Modificata as a slightly improved version, but still aiming at the same buyers. As it happened to the Portofino M, California T, or 456 M

The “M” in Modificata has been used since 1970 with many models, including 456, 512, 575, 355 and 488 to name a handful. In fact the “M” associated with the Portofino M is for Modificata. Generally speaking it’s a final tuned up modification of an existing model. In some cases connected to race cars (ie 488 GT Modificata) or as stated, dialed up production cars.

Often this has been used with very low production numbers, but as is the case with the Portofino…not always. If in fact there is an SF90 Modificata, it’s surely either a hardcore track car such as the 488 example above or some extremely limited sendoff variant not attainable by anyone other than the top of the TOP clients. Regardless, my point pertaining to the VS likely being the last regular production series mid engine V8 remains.

I see. I know they use the M nomenclature once in a while, but I was last thinking the 488 race version.

Perhaps some of the VS test car variants we’ve seen are in fact the M model? Obviously not the winged ones…

A phase 2 if you prefer, a bit like F12/812,458/488...

This is fascinating. Wasn't the original rumor that the SF90 would eventually be replaced by a full EV? Does the SF90-M coexist with full EV or sit above or below in the lineup?

And then I guess the question is does the SF90-M have a VS eventually as well?

So, really the next generation of the car. As would be expected after the initial car run.

How is this unfair if other people are waiting for their 296 ?

And if you sold your SF90 after barely 3 years why should you be eligible for the Special?

    Never said unfair.

I ordered two sf90 and sold within an year, each of them. Having done enough miles on road and track, I had nothing left to do with both normal and AF ones. 3 years… no way….
Why? Because I ordered two so I thought I might have a chance .

    I think F173 M because the SF90 project code was F173.

    As far as I know, it's the opposite: SP4 V8 and SP5 V12.
