No, man. NOT a modified anything. It's the factory GT series 360. Risi Competition has two based in Houston, Texas. They had them at track day in September and they are bad to the bone. $415K and factory approval puts one in your garage. There was an Fchat thread last week about a few used ones on the market. The Velocqx team was selling off their cars. Thanks for those pics! Maybe Rob can post the thread from Texas Ferrari Festival held in September. Risi Competition took one over to the Pirelli New Orleans event also I believe .
That is not, I repeat NOT a factory 360GT car. It has a full interior with racing seats, totally wrong exhausts, wrong hood, wrong rear deck, wrong front fenders, wrong driver window, wrong mirrors, wrong wheels and tires. Definitely a nice car but not one of the racing 360GT cars. Do not flame me. I worked for Giuseppe Risi at Ferrari of Dallas for three years and we had the car that Anthony Lazarro and Ralf Kellener drove to 2nd at the 24 hours at Daytona on the floor. I know the cars well. I appreciate the efforts put forth on making this car look like a real 360GT but it is only a good imitation. And the wheels add nothing to it.
Ooops, my bad! Thanks Audiguy! I thought somebody had realized my dream of putting a real GT on the street!
I always like the wing on the 360 GT's Next year when i get my 360 i plan on getting a kit for it and a wing......
This is one of the first Michelotto-built 360 GTs, chassis N GT 006. Ferrari of Washington raced it in the first few races of the 2002 GrandAm season, never quite scoring a win with it. FoW got one of the first two "factory" 360 GTs halfway through the season (Risi got the other) and sold this car to an enthusiast who was involved with the team. The FoW factory GT car is for sale; it's the car which won the 2002 GA championship.
The Red Bull 360GT Micheletto is also for sale, in Austria, but they did not respond to my email. How much is the FoW car? $$$$$
I'm not sure. I think the asking is $400K -- it's the most successful 360 GT, with 7 GrandAm wins and several records.
"Next year when i get my 360 i plan on getting a kit for it and a wing" Why? Do you actually drive to the point in your daily routine that the rear of your car breaks loose at 170mph?
Attached is a picture of GT 016 which is currently for sale. The car has test time only on it and was never raced. The owner has decided not to pursue his dream of endurance racing. He has lots of other toys!
Your post did not load the attachment! Is the car in the US?? You can send me an email thru the site. Thanks.
Sorry that the pictures did not make it the first time. The car is in south Florida and should be at The FCA Sebring event 4/1-4
