Doesn't look bad from rear 3/4. Almost like a wide version..a Piper special.
Front grill area is wrong, also the upper rear edge of the door frame is wrong for starters. Not the worst replica I’ve seen. Definitely no where near where the GTO replicas are at. If it was a real SWB that had been restored and looked like that I would be sh**ing kittens.
Ever since I was a kid I’ve had books on supercars etc. still remember opening one of my books and the first time I saw the Modulo it blew me away. Would love to build a replica of this one day. Image Unavailable, Please Login
From what I know it was based around a Ferrari 512s chassis. Would love to see it in the flesh one day.
It seems you did not get the 3 Let me give you a hint: the real Modulo nowadays is owned by a certain mr. Jim Glickenhaus....
You obviously dont know Terry Groves, he is possibly one of the most talented & skillful engineer / fabricator in the UK at the moment. Mr Piper would be better to buy the chassis from him!! Best Tony

Check this video about Naito Engineering, I assume it is a replica of 250 LM... ? https://www.benbertucci.com/one-of-one Also here: https://www.caranddriver.com/features/a65880451/naito-auto-japanese-repair-shop-movie-review/
I have been a member here for a year or so and have been finding it hard to find the best board for me to post on. I have been building a Ferrari 312pb go kart and have had great engagement till the moderators step in and boot me to some far corner. I would include link to the build here but I don't know how!lol here is were I stand. Very cool! Just one minor criticism: the nose of the body seems too long to me. Should be something like this: Image Unavailable, Please Login
It Image Unavailable, Please Login may be, I will double check my numbers as I rework the front. Also as it is now the raised leading edge is not molded on yet. That really affects the proportions.
I have scoured the Internet for pics over the last year and have never seen the image you posted. If you have any others I'd love to see them!
I took this picture myself. Here are a few more: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You, sir, are a madman! And I mean that in the best possible way . Most people build something like this with a great looking body, and generic crap underneath. That is not the case here. (Would love to hear more about what's powering it!) I would say, at a minimum, it should have its own thread under the recreations subforum. The above said, given that a 312 PB go cart is not a car replica by definition, and it would probably be of significant interest to those who don't normally follow vintage, it seems like it would fit better under general "Ferrari Discussion" forum, where it would get a lot more eyeballs. I guess that's a moderator's decision, but general Ferrari discussion would be my vote.
Lol! Thank you! That is always what I thought, I wanted something that looked the part but not a replica but a mini! I will try the recreation sub I started at general Ferrari and was booted after a week with great engagement! Then I tried vintage and was booted after great engagement. Fyi the motor is a Honda goldwing 1.5 flat six exactly 1/2 the original!
