Just realized you are from Florida, that explains a lot. Don’t worry, where I live they pay me enough to buy handfuls of your 300k homes

We might be your landlord someday if you keep being underpaid XD

“There’s no way you bought an 05 F430 for $170,000 back in 05!!! Minimum wage was $5HR!!!!”

Sound delusional yet? This is how you sound. My father in 05 was a CNC programmer earning $120,000/YR and nobody wanted to believe him either. Times are changing, now don’t make me go get an F430 today for 117k.

Also, maybe don’t talk trash when you’re obviously going through a mid-life crisis because your wife Probably died. Which explains how 10 years ago you couldn’t even afford your F430 payments (after 6 years) and literally had to rent it out in 6 month increments, yet now you have an F8 and multiple 458s huh, amazing what 10 years can accomplish

School's out. Happens every year with the new Associates Degree diploma demographic.
Notice that he's pontificating his eggspurteez, wizdumb, and ekspeariunce in several threads.

Consider it "entertainment" along the lines of Dumb and Dumber or Pineapple Express (if you like that genre)

Yeah, you’re right about that. The kid is out of control. Talking about people’s spouses now. Not to mention, he forgets a 300k house in Florida is a million dollar home in California, lol.

In any case, I hope he enjoys his stay because it won’t be long if he keeps it up. Acting like a jerk off and berating members is not a good way to introduce yourself.

If the forum is that sensitive, I’ll do like Jay and go with Lamborghini.
He’s the one who started his cry fest, because he can’t use google or fathom working more than 40 hours a week, because he’d rather have couch time.

I like to spend time with my wife, young son and soon to be coming second son. I’m only 32, so not much older than you, but apparently I’ve learned a lot more in life already.

I don’t want to stop you though, please go ahead to the Lamborghini forums.I will caution you that if you bring your terrible attitude there or any other forum, I don’t think they will want you either, though.

3 kids here, yes, at 27. The only thing I’ve seen from the people here are jealousy that I’m not pushing 50 or 60. 05 literally came off speaking as if our income is impossible, because he doesn’t have education towards the medical field in general. You seem confused to the idea of work ethic, and why we’d much rather work to afford a life we couldn’t otherwise.
And the other old fart, just wanted to join in on the “action.”
This is the last time I’ll be responding to you, enjoy your Mother’s Day!

your information is ill at best. Go huddle with 05 in the corner, you’ve got about 5 years until the nursing home. Enjoy.

    I hope not…

I’m fairly new here as well - and have hopefully made a better impression :) - but I’m always happy to see somebody post so I don’t have to guess if they’re immature.

There’s an “ignore” button for those that don’t want to watch the latest court jester. Meanwhile, I’ll enjoy the show.

Here in Michigan you can't drive from one light to another without at least a half dozen chargers, Camaros, challengers and mustangs trying to hunt you down....it's nauseating. The corvette owners are the best though, they slink away like someone took all their thunder....it's hilarious.

The new C8's are everywhere as well absolutely nothing rare about them anymore, one fat old guy asked me at a gas station if I wanted to race with a big laugh about it. I told him "yea let's race for titles, show me yours and we'll do it".....he walked off grumbling something.

Someone on here once wrote about somebody asking to race him and he said something along the lines of "You get to say you beat a ferrari what do I get out of it?". Don't remember who it was but that line is great...

    Street racing is for idiots

Racing on public roads is never satisfying to me, no matter how tempting it feels in the moment. The "winner" is invariably whoever is willing to be the stupidest/craziest, not the faster car or the better driver. I've got no taste for trying to out-crazy some rando on the road.

I'll see you at the race track if you're serious.

"Travel Nurses" can make up to double what a staff nurse might make.
BUT --- it's short term assignments, so not 50 weeks per year,
-- and no benefits at all. (Typically 1099 rather then W2.)
(Something that young people don't think about, .... but may regret later.)

Nor anything like job security. (Here today, gone tomorrow.)
This can be viable for someone in an area with a severe shortage of nurses, as there may be a lot of demand for "temps".

But with the tech industry shedding jobs in SoCal, the demand for service industries may fall off.
    A feast or famine industry.

But then, strippers can make good money, too ---- for a while. :D:D
    (Another "hand to mouth" business.)

It's definitely a hand-to-something business, that's for sure. Especially the ones they have in Cabo.

    “My Maserati does one-eighty-five
I lost my license, now I don't drive”

Travel nurses have been around for decades, it isn’t an industry which will ever catch up to pace. You can turn out a new 18YO stripper every day, you can’t do that in the medical field. To put into perspective, my wife’s school held 1 application round per year. They accepted 25 students. When my wife graduated, only 17 remained and only 15 passed the Nclex for licensure.

When you google travel nurse assignments, and you see $5,000-$6,500wk, understand that’s straight pay and overtime is abundant. It also isn’t just a 13-16 week contract, they always offer to extend or re-sign. Yes 1099 is a thing, and yes we have an LLC (EIN) and write off all of her work clothes, our mortgage (office), fuel, and car payment. Our taxes are right at 30% in total, and then she pays 18% towards social and med (no company match, womp womp womppp)
It’s still a good chunk of money left over.

Trust me, I know I’m not the bread winner and I know I’m extremely lucky to have her.

I know a 46 year old who served 20 years in the Army, Retired. He then went and got his RN bachelors, he makes $75hr W2 in the ICU.

I know google will say $30hr, but that’s pretty much a nursing home in a LCOL like Georgia. If you’re near WA/CA, where people have money? It’s double just at entry level, and in WA the Medical Industry is unionized. Pay contract goes up, it’ll never go down.
I hear “it’s due to Covid.” All the time, and no, it’s due to the intelligence level required and the limited colleges which offer a program. In the entire state of WA, there’s just a handful, and they require a B+ grade in each pre-requisite course.
So, yeah there’s a dire need. Just in 2020-2021 alone, we lost 100,000 registered nurses.

the hospital does 1 MRI, bills $5,500. “Impothible day caint pay that a week.”

    alright.
