FYI Daniele Buzzonetti is a well known Italian journalist, since decades. I understand that he may be less well known in other parts of the world. I think that is normal.
As for the "10 Euros marking down": That is absolutely normal in Italy. And in many South American places as well.
They say a price, but there's always room for a discount, because it makes the buyer feel better.
A little bit similar to a typical oriental bazaar. All psychology. Simple game.

Cheers, thanks for the clarification Marcel regarding Daniele's background.

Also, I had no idea that the Italian's share a similarity with both the Asian and Indian community.

Both can't resist a good price barter. :)

Ferrari From Inside and Outside (in its English edition), mentioned here a few pages back is a large format picture book, highlighting the work of Rainer Schlegelmilch and Ercole Colombo in relation to Ferrari in Formula 1. Whilst it is primarily a picture book there is also some text (edited by James Allen) with some interesting anecdotes from the likes of Jean Todt, Mauro Forghieri etc. and the two featured photographers. Most of the photos are beautifully reproduced although there are a few exceptions. I'm not sure whether that is down to the source material or otherwise. It is likely that almost all of the photographs will be familiar, especially to those who own, for example, some of Schlegelmilch's books published by Konemann, not that familiarity diminishes the power of a great photograph.

    Fiction about Ferraris?

I suppose there is some. I'm looking for a publisher who may want to see my action thriller novel about a barn finder who is also a private eye. The plotline is someone steals a prototype car from a start-up automaker and the hard boiled dick's job is to get it back by any means. I am modeling the CEO after the lifestyle of my friend Jerry Weigart (Vector) who was always weaving tales of intrigue around his supercar. The hero borrows from my exp. as a barn finder. Time may date the choice of cars though as I have the hero hoping to barn find derelict Ferraris at $10,000 each. When I wrote the book back in 2011, even that was drawing from my exp. in the '70s., when bargains were still around. Here's a book announcement from 2011.

Ferrari Hunters - a Ferrari Crime Novel from a Former Barn Finder: Anamera (finecars.cc)

Grateful if you can point any gearhead agents my way. Thanks

All Ferraris raced in the 9 year Can-Am Series were covered in a 13 page color article by John Elliott (UK) in great detail and with more than 50 superb photos, published in the FOC UK magazine, Volume 40 Number 1, issue 157 of Spring 2008. That excellent report includes also a full list of every single Can-Am race and every Ferrari with venue, date, type, chassis number driver, race number, result, team and many other interesting details. Title is "Ferrari in Can-Am" and "Can-Am Adventures".

Hopefully, Meunier had access to that data and included it in his new book, since I'm sure copies of that FOC magazine are difficult to come by.

…or my favorite, the 330LMBs. Objectively faster and more rare than a 250GTO and, subjectively, more beautiful.

So rare I had to Google it.

    Agreed, it's a stunning car.

Would love to know more about that model.

They sent digital copies of the book in its 'retromobile' form a few months ago to journalists who requested them... They did it for me anyway.

If I'm not mistaken, they were assembled for the Experimental GT class of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, used only in 1962, which allowed prototype GTs derived from production models with 4.0-litre engines, whereas the GTs entered in the Constructors' World Championship were limited to 3.0 litres.

How many pages is this book and is it worth what 71 Pounds sterling?
Does any book dealer in the US stock it? It came out in July 2023. I'll trade Ferrari artwork (11" x 17" paper prints of original paintings) or a leather jacket with painting of Iso A3/C or Strada for a copy.
BIZZARRINI – THE LAST ROMANTIC CONSTRUCTOR by Daniele Buzzonetti
Publisher blurb:The book (full of photographic documents but also of “current” images, relating to perfectly restored or preserved cars) tells the entire story of Giotto Bizzarrini, with the testimonies of those who worked with him. A fitting tribute to a great Italian genius.

The website of Artioli is confusing. Gilena states that the book can be dispatched immediately. Same with "BB - The Legend".

Yes it is confusing. We know the BB book is available from Marcel's photo posted above. Presumably, if Gilena say they have it available then they do. I buy quite a lot of books from Speedyhen in the UK (https://www.speedyhen.com/Product/Daniele-Buzzonetti/BIZZARRINI-The-last-romantic-constructor/29096522) who quote 1 July as the publication date and obviously don't have it available yet (although, as usual, they have it at an attractive price).

I am confused. On the publisher's website for the Bizzarrini book it says PRE-ORDER – Publication available from march 2023
Yet some bookstores offer pre-orders in July 2023
But this photo from May, 2023, of presenting a copy of the book to some Italian mayor (perhaps of Livorno) shows a copy of the book in hand (though it could be a mockup) Is it in print or isn't it?
