I recently picked up a 50s Aston Martin that had been stored inside a workshop for many, many years. I believe it's a DB2/4, but I'm not sure. I'm looking for a forum or someone that knows early AMs. I have the chassis and engine numbers. Thanks

I knew of one in the back of a garage in upstate ny. It sat up high like that too. But in had a few red panels. This one looks dark in color. Love that era, 50s British style

Looks like the chassis number is within the range for a 1957 DB 2/4 MKII

I'm guessing there must be a backstory here - you ended up with what sounds like a barn find 50's AM without knowing which model it was? I could see Tom Cotter ("The Barn Find Hunter") doing a piece that starts like that. Glad to see they haven't all been found yet, and good luck with the project, sale, or whatever plans you have for it. A few more pics when you get a chance and have a positive ID would be great to see.
