The problem is not the race, or the race track.
The problem is the size of the cars.

True and there ways to compensate for the over sized 'race cars' and that means a better track until F1 finds a set of regs for smaller cars. That seems to not be a possibility just yet. As far as Monaco goes, its been a tough place to race for years. The cars to race would need to be very small and thats not possible at all. Want racing then find 70's era cars for the F1 drivers to use. We would want cars that could pass in more than 1 place so very very small. Other than that Monaco is a great qualy place. Nothing else. I could care less about its history. COVID showed how valuable that was. F1 moved right along and didnt look back at Monaco at all. They found new and exciting tracks that actually offered RACING - OMG a series with racing........amazed. The show is better without Monaco. Thats reality. The nostalgia clouding reality is ridiculous. Monaco is not the center of the F1 world. Thats about to be Vegas baby lol :) :)

Been to the GP twice and the Historic GP once. All great events and fun to be there. Watching it on TV it's not so exciting.

I do think like spirot that it is part of the F1 core/history and it would be terrible if it were no longer part of it. But it could happen. We lost Brands Hatch, Zolder, Nuerburg/Hockenheim, Dijon to name a few.

I still think F1 should be on the African continent as well. Whether that's in Johannesburg or in Morocco, doesn't matter.

Monaco is a circuit that cannot adapt to modern F1; that's the bottom line.

Because the straights too short. Most modern tracks are designed with plenty of corners.
